There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

bombaywhite-Big lad at Kanha Tiger Reserve. He isn't around anymore, but his offspring surely seem to be succeeding in difficult circumstances.

Shubham Singh Baghel
The mighty umarpani | kanha

After staying back for almost 3 months at home. Finally got to see them. It was on the 15th of june in the first safari itself that we got to see him. After continuously searching for 3 hours with no signs of any of them. Finally he stood up from where he was sleeping. A small bridge known as barh pulia in mukki zone. It was then madness and within seconds all the vehicles in the zone came and started waiting. Within minutes he showed up again and walked gracefully before disappearing in the lantana again.

With 18 safari’s in 15 days time. I’ve got many stories to tell. Especially the newcomers in the Kanha’s coffee table book. Stay tuned for more.

Ciao

Long live the King!

Thanks for share, my friend!

I'm really happy to know that he's alive! Still remember the great time when he and Wagdoh reigned in Tadoba.
Time is cruel to them all in the jungle of life

Thanks, my friend.
I just check the patterns, and yeah, that guy are not Shivaji of Kolsa.

Does anybody have information of Shivaji? His sons and daughters? I hope he still alive, somewhere in Tadoba. God bless the King :)

There was a picture of his full grown son a year or two ago, I haven't heard anything on Shivaji for a while. Wasn't sure that image was him that I posted but the photographer said it was so I posted it.
