There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Xikukutsu males are absolute beasts, look at the size of this boy, and they are just 4.5 yrs old.

Yeah they really are big. It looks like they may have split from the Mapoza Male.

I dont think they will split, they will most likely be separeted but neigbours, something what N. Avocas have, with Mapoza staying with Avoca pride and 2 Xikukutsu holding territory further southwest in north Thornybush.

The boys are ambitious and want new territory and pride, while older Mapoza has his pride and his cubs to protect.

Update from Motswari:

Lion update - the two protectors of the Western Pride being all regal. The ones whose roars echo through the night sky advertising their formidable strength. The female members of the Western Pride have not been seen now for over three weeks. We are certain they are nursing their cubs just out of our reach on one of our neighboring reserves. It won't be too long though before they return and we cannot wait for that day to come. In the meantime, these two gentlemen will have their hands full with keeping the Skorro males from intruding into their territory.
