Old story now 2012, but very happy ending for the tiger. Thankfully people found him and released him.

The poaching of tigers and any animal is disgusting. The trade on body parts for display or medicine that doesn't work, for the cost of a tigers life is simply horrendous. When all the tigers and lions have gone, what will they go after next. Just makes me sick.

In need of some relaxation this Sunday? This Sumatran tiger is way ahead of you. This #bigcat was caught passing by one of our #cameratraps in #Indonesia after emerging from a muddy #waterhole. Although you may not be as glamorous as this #apexpredator, you can still dazzle us all on #GlobalTigerDay by helping to turn the tide for tigers everywhere. With only 3,900 left in the wild, and two tiger subspecies critically endangered, it’s now or never. Learn more at the link in our bio. Photo by

This #TigerTuesday, we’re on the move with a Sumatran #tiger in Kerinci Seblat National Park. Can you imagine a 3-10 km walk to the kitchen? It’s not uncommon for #tigers to cover that distance during a #hunt. We’re lucky Panthera Assistant Director of Programs @noblehound caught this #beauty cruising by his #cameratraps! Learn more about tigers and the threats they face in the wild at the link in our bio.

ou might think this video has frozen, but Muli is just stealthily stalking her prey! The star #tiger of the @gopro “Let the Tiger Go” documentary seems healthy in this camera trap footage retrieved by our partner @tamblingwildlife, and her tracking collar has since dropped off as planned. Want more good news for big cats in 2018? Give hope for the holidays at the link in our bio

A sumatran tiger in Mount Leuser NP Aceh killing a dog who approached its kill.
