RE: Lions in West-Africa - Rishi - 01-23-2019 Some of these guys look so much like Asiatic-African hybrids that used to be bred in Indian zoos once! The practice was discontinued due to the animals having little to no conservation value. BTW, you post mostly images. So, try to provide photo credits, or atleast a link to the source whenever possible. RE: Lions in West-Africa - Lycaon - 01-23-2019 @Rishi Will do . JMO but I think you should get another star or maybe two for your base of knowledge for this part of Africa and its lions. A big part of me is more about the conservation aspect ... so do you know of any reputable NGO's who you might recommend supporting? thank you RE: Lions in West-Africa - Lycaon - 01-23-2019 @jordi6927 I highly recommend the following https://www.lionrecoveryfund.org/ https://www.facebook.com/OeBenin/ https://www.africanparks.org/ https://www.facebook.com/PendjariNationalPark/?ref=py_c All of these originaizations are doing great work in west africa RE: Lions in West-Africa - Pckts - 01-23-2019 (01-23-2019, 06:24 PM)Rishi Wrote: Some of these guys look so much like Asiatic-African hybrids that used to be bred in Indian zoos once!
