A full grown male tiger was found limping in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve today. He could not walk due to paraplegia in hind limbs. He's tranquillised and now being shifted to Gorewada Rescue Centre in Nagpur for treatment.

one of naina's sons from her previous litter was bigger than her and was not even two years old yet..surprised they were killed off like that. but her current litter are looking good @Ashutosh

@Rage2277, well, this time both her sons were already bigger than her at about 20 months. By the way, some have even given these two names because they are confident of them reaching adulthood. One of them is called Santram from what I know.

Tiger density in Panna Tiger Reseve
The mean
tiger density at Panna was lower than at another dry forest
site at Ranthambore (11.46 tigers/100 km2), which had a
25-year history of protection. However, the mean density
(6.94 tigers/100 km2) in our study area, which covered
77% of the reserve, was reasonably high compared to
other human-impacted sites in India for which reliable
data on tiger densities are available (Karanth et al.,
2004).
