Scorocoro is no longer over the Timbavati River Pride; he's over the Western Pride now.  They might have 8 cubs.  The T. River Pride has only subs--1 female/3 males, and one young adult female that's the lone survivor of the early 2020 litters.  Moreover, this pride is scattered often lately, with the older lionesses off mating with the Vuyelas....and even Sindzela once, at least.  It's said that one (or more) of them is now pregnant.

Question to test memories...
I was in Timbavati back in 2017. I spent quite a bit of time with the Western Pride, who at the time had some (I forget the number) of sub adult males of similar age.
I’ve always wondered if they made it and left the pride and formed a coalition?
It was May and at the time they were just starting to get their manes and presume 6 months or so away from getting kicked out

I do not know. Probably they just moved into Kruger where they couldn't be tracked and it would be impossible to know if they succed in claiming some territory or not.

I have seen some speculating if currently territorial in Klaserie and Timbavati 5 Vuyela males might in fact came from Western pride, through I have no idea if that could be the case.

Thank you for your reply. I thought being on the  boundary so closely there was a good chance they may have just disappeared into the distant bush. I guess now they would be in the region of 7.5 years old. Just found few pics of a couple of the boys.

Here’s also a male who was breeding away from the pride with one of the females. Unfortunately never got what he was known as (coalition name wise). He charged the other land rover shortly after we left, which we could see coming from the second pic (reason we left him to it). He may have been the Male that made the news after being lured off the reserve to be shot a few months after.
