They look too young to be alone.

Sumatra limp is barely noticeable in the sighting. Glad to heard these two are still doing well with the Giraffe pride. After all, they didn't left much offspring behind, with Sumatra past his prime, and Hercules on it. Are very, very good news...

Took a screenshot of Sumatra in that IG video. Am I seeing stuff? Looks as he has an injury on his inner, upper leg or his stomach?  I circled it in yellow best I could.

Very nice.
Well Sumatra is 12.5 yrs old. He is doing fine according to his age.

Definitely appears to be an injury of some sort, a cut or tear of the skin for sure. Could be a buffalo horn got hooked underneath him, or perhaps as @DARK MANE mentioned, a scuffle with other lions.

So looks like part of Birmingham pride was on a kill, what is interesting is that male on a picture, doesnt look like neither of Ross males, way too young, also looks too old for 2 "brown" young males.

To me he looks like Skorro young male, Orpens son.

Tanda Tula update

The Giraffe Pride seemed to be more active in the area than the past months and have been seen with a few kills, including a giraffe and waterbuck.  The Mayambula Pride and their nineteen members began expanding the areas over which they were moving and started pushing further north of our traversing. They will however always return to their territorial core as the cubs grow up and require more food we can expect this trend to become more evident.
