The two remaining sons of the Giraffe Male from the Black Dam pride look to make a name for themselves in Shindzela, located in the Timbavati Game Reserve.

RE: Lions of Timbavati - lionuk - 10-21-2021

As far as I know, there are 3 Black Dam males that are alive, though two are together as shown on this video.

Only two of the six were successfully identified so far.Although the third one could be that one who was seen in Thornybush. Let's hope rangers could ID him.

Theres no evidence that other Black Dam young males are dead, they could be in Sandringham, or moved somewhere else.

Is it confirmed that the BDMs fought BYM?

It isn't 100% confirmed. But it's the most likely scenario. Since all three males were sighted few days later with new injuries

RE: Lions of Timbavati - Tonpa - 10-22-2021

good video on the thakazile/Kudyela pride. Seems the Sark males killed those new cubs (didn't they sire them?)

In speaking w Charlie from EverSeenSA, he’s spoken w Rangers and the cubs were likely sired by two different Unknown males that were in the area a few months prior.
