@Rage2277, there are more than 1 golden tabby tigers in Kaziranga. You can check post #158 of the “White, Black and Golden Tigers” thread.

As for this one, as @Pckts said, it’s a golden tabby mother with 2 regular coloured cubs. Here is another account of an encounter with this family:

I saw the claim of multiple golden tabby tigers but I’ve seen no such evidence of any others except her. I wonder if Rabin Sharma knows of any others?

idk man this vid seals it for me that is def not that tabby tigress with the wound on her face which would be pretty visible at that range..that tabby is a subadult male for sure i can see jewels on it aswell and the tabby female doesn't have this stocky build, her head is shaped diff too. also look at the orange tigress she's the lead the other two are following her no doubt the mother

@Rage2277, it’s not that golden female whose code name is Kzt 106. This one is different. But, as you can see, she is absolutely massive. I have heard from couple of people that there are 3 Golden tabby tigers in the park currently.

The female you are talking about is here:

Good find but she looks more tight in the belly area than the one in question.

RE: Tigers of North-Eastern India - Ashutosh - 01-14-2022

@Rage2277, it’s not a male. It’s a female. Golden tabby female with 2 regular coloured cubs. This was also shared by the person who clicked the picture I posted above on post #437.

aside from appearances look at the behavior watch how the tabby rubs against the bigger orange one and look how she reacted typical mother/cub interaction engaging then turning away quickly to walk off..the tabby along with the smaller orange one are following her @Ashutosh
