Yes quite agree with you. The most populated country in the world, from now on, trying to protect such iconic animal species, as both tigers and lions, deserves all the praise.

Not sure if he has/had brothers/coalition partners but I'd say Devraj is the most famous and impressive Asiatic wild lion in Gir. You can see him in this thread and in videos.

this is the most impressive asiatic lion you've seen? are you serious? he is one of the weakest looking specimens to me i've seen many gir males far above this guy he looks like a zoo animal

Sorry bro but we clearly see 2 different things.. Devraj is clearly a more impressive specimen, for an Asiatic lion, than those examples you've posted. IMHO, currently the most impressive Asiatic lion i have seen. Not sure if were gonna agree on this.
