I have the immense fortune of working in my country's WWF reserve and dealing with various species of birds of prey in aviaries.

Here is a somewhat peculiar comparison that I don't think has ever been posted here, a peregrine falcon feather (left, 20 cm) compared to a kestrel feather (right, 7.7 cm)

If I am lucky enough, I will be able to get an eagle owl's feather from their avaries in the next days/week. Those feathers are truly massive and if I get one I promise I will compare them to the ones I got today

Mainecoon, the largest domestic cat breed.
The largest males can touch 10 - 14 kgs, as heavy as an average coyote from smaller populations

The size of this smilodon populator is too exaggerated. In Facts smilodons (populator or fatalis) have a smaller head than the modern lion, whether in average or maximum size. This smilodon has a head that is almost twice that of a lion, which is completely unrealistic.
This comparison is just fantasy more than anything.

Yes, unrealistic, only to show how impressive is the artwork and a scale for amazement. Almost 900 lbs and 4 ft is realistic ,if not the largest. No idea about the largest skull? I believe they in general had smaller skulls than lions.
