You don't actually think this is REAL, do you? A bull elephant and a male lion standing 2 feet in front of each other and one has it's eyes closed and the other is looking off in a different direction.
It may not photoshopped... They're a few hundred yards away from each other. But the photo has been taken at high zoom from very far away, making their relative magnification negligeble.

I've seen huge Bulls up close and they dwarf a Male Lion.
They arent 2 feet in front of each other either, the Male Lion is closer to the the photographer than the Elephant is.

Two of the giants of the OMNH: Holotype of Sauroposeidon (OMNH 53062, 32 meters, 60+ tonnes) vs OMNH 1670 Apatosaurus (28.3 meters, 52 tonnes, less than half grown).

So, again...it's not a REAL photo then. It's a photoshopped forced perspective.

In the bigger photo of the elephant, sunlight falls on it directly from the top... see its hindleg's shadow.

Lighting looks the same on either photo nor can I make a claim on how high the sun actually is or if the elephant is blocking the sun from directly hitting the Lion but regardless a Crater elephant will easily dwarf a Male Lion like that, I've mentioned it before. They're absolutely massive in the crater and this elephant would probably still have some growing to do since his tusks arent worn down yet.

One last thing, the Lions mane is also a characteristic of Crater males, covering the shoulder which also makes me think the photo is correct.
In regards to your question, I'm not sure but I thought about that when you commented on the T-REX not being fully grown until the age of 30, I'd assume itd be similar to that. The reason why I said he'd probably still have some growing to do was because without question, the largest bulls always had worn down tusks and they were unlike anything I've seen in the wild. I had no idea they could get so massive, they'd dwarf even the largest Bulls I saw inside the Serengeti.

Amphicyon is scaled to 2.4 meters TL and should be about 400 kg, while the Apatosaurus is scaled to 163% the size of CM 3018 (36.3 meters) and is about 95 tonnes. Amphicyon is silhouette of Monsters Resurrected, Apatosaurus skeletal is by Hartman. Scalebar on bottom left is 1 meter.

Siats (holotype) vs Mapusaurus (MCF-PVPH-108.169)
Siats skeletal is by BlueTheDakotaraptor and is ~9 meters TL with an estimated mass of 2.365 tonnes, while Mapusaurus is by Franoys, 12.23 meters along the curves and ~7 tonnes. Scale bar is 1 meter

Average sized great white shark (~4.5 meters, 1 tonne) vs Baryonyx holotype (juvenile, 10 meters TL and 3.4 tonnes scaling from GSP's 9 meters and 2.5 tonnes). Scalebar is 1 meter, GWS is from Wikimedia Commons and Baryonyx is by Hartman
