RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - lionuk - 03-22-2022 "Ntsumi on the side of the road. We followed her as she led us to the remains of her kill. With only a few bones left, we watched her finish them off before quenching her thirst at a nearby waterhole. It was great to see her feed as she needs regular meals so that she can produce enough milk for her tiny cubs." *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - lionuk - 03-22-2022 Another Leopard that hasn't been seen for a time is found. Tavangumi was born in 2018, His mom is the Scotia Female, Dad is unknown. RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - Tonpa - 03-27-2022 A strange sighting. Maribye and Thandi hanging around with the Langa female RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - Tonpa - 04-04-2022 A sad day, the Thandi Female was found dead. RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - Duco Ndona - 04-04-2022 Sad to hear that. I hope she went peacefull and Maribye is atleast ok. RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - Tonpa - 04-04-2022 No solid details but it seems she was possibly killed by a Male Leopard RE: Leopards of Sabi Sands - Luipaard - 04-04-2022 @Duco Ndona She was found lifeless with serious wounds to the thoracic region. I'm afraid it wasn't that peaceful... I hoped it was due to old age when I first heard about her death. After all 16 years is old for a leopard. @Tonpa I too heard reports of a male leopard in the area. Probably ambushed. Why would male leopard attack her in that way? I mean she doesnt have cubs currently to defend. Isnt a lion attack more likely?
