Hate to break it to ya my friend but I would put good money down on most lions in SS related generations back. That doesn't mean its that bad, depends on how close the lions inbred/line bred. Plus felines aren't like humans and although it isn't great it isn't that terrible. I mean sons with moms, stuff like that not good like Mbiri pride but what are we to do?
This thread here discusses the effects of inbreeding, and in it I shared the link that @Wyld@Heart had shared, on a study done on the crater cats. They are able to trace back their lineage more than 70 years, and in fact most of the lions born in the crater can be traced back to a single pair of lionesses, that remained following a plague outbreak. It is a great read. In a case where inbreeding has been taking place for many decades, they are now able to see some issues arising from it, such as lower sperm counts, and other things of this nature.
In fact, it is not yet at critical stages, but if not addressed it could eventually get there. Some sort of intervention will be needed at some point. I mean, if we look at Loonkito, I read that he had bred with his own granddaughter, and produced many cubs with his daughters. So, at least to my untrained eyes, it seems nature has taken such things into account, as it is bound to happen, and no way to prevent it from occurring at all.
