@Pckts The field director claimed prima facie, it looked like a natural death and not a vehicular one. To be confirmed by an autopsy. He was the great hope of Panna, the first tiger born after the reintroduction. He died aged 12.

Blood pool from the mouth suggests internal bleeding which would coincide with a collision but let’s hope for the best.

Both tigers dead in Akola buffer. This isn’t a  road accident. Clear case of poisoning. T7 and P234 can’t catch a break. Their cubs end up dying unnaturally. I am guessing there are other casualties as well.

@GreenForest Shiva is massive. It’s a shame we don’t get to see him often. He is the same size as Waghdoh and the biggest male in Tadoba (maybe Dadiyal comes close).

Just to put his size in perspective, this is Kuwani female with her cubs (she looks decent sized), then you compare her to Shiva:
