The Skukuza/Hilda's Rock Male  - Came across this very well fed lion at the water hole.
In my opinion,he is prob one of the tallest lions in the KNP, what a specimen he is!

I doubt it that those scars on his side and back were made by the Mpondo males,if they caught him they will kill him

I doubt they will outright kill him, unless it's atleast 3 or more Mpondo's. He won't go down easy, you can be sure of that. That's an older scar before the Mpondo's strolled into the Delaporte's territory, but could be from fighting other lions.

Recent sighting of #4 Delaporte. Talamati male and Kinky tail from the Lubyelubye pride
Had just viewed a herd of buffalo on sunset drive near Skukuza and then came upon one male lion that was still having a sleep. One buffalo was separated from the herd and the lion must of herd the noise of the buffalo and got the smell and he decided to get up and start hunting. Two more males came from no where from the opposite side of the road and joined in. The one that started to hunt first went after the separated buffalo and we expected it to make a kill. The buffalo turned around and started attacking the male with much aggression that the male gave up and the other two did not join in time. It was like watching national geographic and we all on the sunset drive had an amazing experience and sighting.

That seems. Kinky tail with Talamati and Dreadlocks means something! Two of them are on perfect shape. The talamati look well fed however his limp can't help him on much.
I'm very concerned as you with the HRM And 3T,However,I would like think that both are well on somewhere of the KNP
