A Gallery of Captivity - Amnon242 - 07-09-2018 same male RE: Zoos, Circuses, Safaris... A Gallery of Captivity - Pckts - 07-09-2018 This past Weekend I went to the Wildlife Waystation and they have a large array of Chimps, Lions, Tigers, Hyena, Puma, Leopard, Monkeys, Serval, a jungle cat and much more. All the animals are rescues from horrible situations and I enjoyed the trip. Below is info and Images from my trip. 1st Up is the Amur/Bengal Area with a few Lioness as well This Tiger is the one I assumed to be the 483lb Tiger from the article below, judging off the coat color. He was closer to the orange tabby color than his brother and he is what appears to be on the dentist table as well. He's smaller than His brother but not by much. *This image is copyright of its original author http://abc7.com/pets/dentists-veterinarians-treat-animals-at-wildlife-waystation-in-sylmar/1027383/ 483lb Tiger His Brother *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author 3rd male next to these two, not as large nor as friendly so he had to be separated. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author The Lioness across the way from the Tigers above *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author Chimps rescued from a Lab, they are super aggressive towards people for good reason and will spit on you plus make sure you know that it's their territory. I'll post a video of a Male Lion roaring then these Chimps stomping, screaming and displaying right back to him. They are fairly large too, I was surprised. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author The male Lion that was roaring across from the Chimps below, you can also see a Male Black Bear behind him. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author The Male Black Bear *This image is copyright of its original author Female wolf, she had a larger male with her as well. I was amazed at the size of their muzzle, much larger than any dog I've seen with far larger teeth. *This image is copyright of its original author I'll continue on the next post... RE: Zoos, Circuses, Safaris... A Gallery of Captivity - Pckts - 07-09-2018 Slightly smaller male Lion than the other one that was roaring with the Chimps *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author One of their large male Hyena, they were used for lab testing and are very old now *This image is copyright of its original author .A very large female black leopard, one of the largest females I've seen. *This image is copyright of its original author Beautiful female Cougars, their larger brother was across the way but I couldn't get a good photo of him. *This image is copyright of its original author Regular colored female Leopard, there was one more black female leopard who was much smaller but I didn't get a good photo of her either. *This image is copyright of its original author This was probably the largest cat at the facility, he's said to be only 2 years old but I'd guess he's a little older at that size. He's probably a 20kg or so larger than the one male lion but I'd guess the other male lion was very close to his size as well. That's his sister behind him as well. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author Eurasian Brown Bear, female. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author and by far the most intimidating creature there, a wild Rattlesnake my girlfriend spotted of course, she always spots animals that I have no idea are there. *This image is copyright of its original author I'll post the video next. RE: Zoos, Circuses, Safaris... A Gallery of Captivity - Pckts - 07-09-2018 Here's the video of the Large Male Lion roaring towards the other Male Lion then the Chimps responding by making as much noise as possible. Here's the large sub adult Male Tiger playing, all you have to do is turn your back to big cats resting and it usually means they'll be right behind you as soon as you turn around. RE: Zoos, Circuses, Safaris... A Gallery of Captivity - Betty - 07-28-2018 Tiger lunges to BITE lion's throat in shock circus attack THIS is the shocking moment a tiger attacks a lion and grabs it by the throat during a performance in a Russian circus. The startling incident occurred at a circus belonging to the Zapashny brothers, famous for their animal training skills, in the Russian capital of Moscow. In the video, one of the performers can be seen shepherding a lion across the ring when a tiger sat at the side suddenly leaps into action. The tiger, named Dieter, launches itself at the lion, a young male named David. Dieter knocks David to the ground and bites his neck as one of the ring masters begins throwing objects at the pair of fighting big cats. *This image is copyright of its original author https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/719100/Tiger-bites-lion-throat-circus-attack-Zapashny-brothers-Moscow-Russia-video |
