The tourism area of Dhikala zone has sal forests, mixed forests, riverbeds, grasslands supporting life of varied species of wildlife. The road along the riverbed, known as Sambhar road is the most happening place in Dhikala zone, as this is an overlapping territory of many tigers due to abundance of Prey and water. The Sambhar Roadwaali tigress (one of Parwaali’s cubs) had encroached into the territory of Choti Paro (Eldest daughter of Paarwaali) and was seen scent marking on the banks of the Riverbed. Suddenly, Choti Paaro emerged from the thickets to defend her territory. She easily subdued the sambhaar road waali with a load roar which was heard all over DHIKALA Zone (heard on video). Sambhar road waali immediately backed off, swam across the Ramganga river and returned back to her original territory. We felt very fortunate to have witnessed this whole incident and have tried my best to narrate this in the form of a short reel.

"A Fight For Dominance
The arrival of three unknown male lions at the Gomoti Plains Camp area has turned up the heat on the resident male lion, Nagmerie.
The three rogue males have been moving around the territory marking their scent. Nagmerie, being the excellent father and protector of his pride, has been smart and has kept his distance to avoid conflict and keep his 11 cubs safe.
After a heavy thunderstorm one afternoon we heard loud roars coming from every direction. We went out with some staff to investigate and found Nagmerie and one of the rogue males locked in a battle that went on for hours.
For the time being it looks like it will take more than this rogue male to knock Nagmerie off his throne."
