Here is a size comparison I made, jaguar pictures by guategojira .
On top: Lower size range; 55 kg jaguar (50 cm shoulder height) vs Orinoco crocodile (4.1 meters, 380 kg) In the middle:
Higher size range; 95 kg jaguar (70 cm shoulder height) vs Orinoco crocodile (5.2 meters, 635 kg) On the bottom: Record sized 148 kg jaguar (80 cm shoulder height) vs record Orinoco crocodile (6.8 meters, likely about 1.5-1.8 tons based on other large crocodiles).
Going by this chart, I very very comfortably favor the croc even on land.

Shoulder height would be taller, the largest shoulder height measured by almeida was 81cm and that was for Jaguars under the weight of 119kg
A Jaguar weighing up to 150kg would most likely be significantly taller as well.
But it wouldn't matter much since it's still going to be outsized regardless.

Which of the 3 jaguars are you referring to? Is it the last one?
I recommend ignoring that scalebar; I just copied and rescaled the jaguar image to the dimensions of the silhouette so the scalebar isn't going to hold up.
If it's any of the others, you may want to talk to @GuateGojira about that. He made the chart, after all.

The largest shoulder height you estimated to correlate with the 148kg Jaguar.
If you were to use the height of 80cm it should be used for a 119kg Jaguar, no one has attained Body Dimensions as of yet for Jaguars of 130kg or more so those measurements aren't available to us.
I've asked Fernando but I haven't heard back yet.

Well, it could have merely been due to individual variation. Maybe the world record 148 kg jaguar was somewhat more robust than the 119 kg, 80 cm SH animal you mention.

It's possible, although a 130kg Cat should generally be larger all the way around than a 119kg Cat.
But that's not always the case, Adriano who weighed 130kg was a fairly normal sized Jaguar but extremely robust, but he's significantly outsized in both frame and mass by a few known Males in the Pantanal.

Well, I think it's most likely individual variation. Animals in general vary a LOT from specimen to specimen; take saltie crocs for instance. 5 meter individuals have been recorded from 522 kg to over a ton, and everywhere in between. Surely a significantly smaller variation is the most likely cause here with the jaguar.

While I have the original sources of the data of the Belize jaguars, I still have my doubts as the shoulde height seems to be too small for such a specimens, but this is what the late Dr Rabinowitz published.
Also, remember that the images of the jaguars are in movement, so they do not represent an standing height. We should found a picture of a jaguar in standing height for such a comparison.
Just a side note, I saw a skull of a jaguar from Guatemala that was close to 25 cm in length, maybe more. I will search the picture in my old disks.
