Limping Monwana(son of BDM) is with the Girraffe male. Gurnsey male has a different partner, and his partner was recently killed(Monwana male, son of Trilogy males). Thank you my friend, I had the two confused. RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 02-04-2023 Exciting days at UMLANI. 2 days ago, the 6 birmingham breakaway males killed a buffalo in our camp during the night. They made themselfs comfortable around our camp and attracting, not only game viewers, but lots of different wildlife as well. Swipe to see what has been going on. *This image is copyright of its original author

They where being chased from Shindzela few days ago, by either 2 Mongawane males (likely) or Hercules/Sumatra. RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 02-04-2023 RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 02-04-2023 Lone warriors sleep with one eye open… The Guernsey male keeps a careful eye on his surroundings - he’s treading on thin ice in the kingdom of the Black Dam coalition where he’s been seen lingering around the powerful Avoca Pride. Without territory to call his own, he’s careful to keep a wary eye on his surroundings. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Lions of Timbavati - BigLion39 - 02-06-2023 The Birmingham Breakaways have names now? RE: Lions of Timbavati - Mdz123 - 02-06-2023 (02-06-2023, 12:28 PM)BigLion39 Wrote: The Birmingham Breakaways have names now? Yes, I have already replied to you on the Birmingham pride thread. You can see the post in which I mentioned you in your alerts RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 02-06-2023 Tanda Tula update As usual, in my absence the guides enjoyed some lovely viewing of the Giraffe Pride who spent several days on the property, including a couple of days on the plains with all 23 females and cubs accounted for; earlier this week the Hercules and Sumatra males were also seen mating with an unidentified lioness in the western parts of our concession. Naturally though, as I returned to drive all the lions decided to leave the area. Well, not all of them, and the Birmingham Breakaway males didn’t receive word that I had returned. These six growing boys spent three days on a buffalo kill close to Nkhari, and when following up on them the next day found them resting on the open plains of Nkhari. Sadly their fat bellies meant that they didn’t get up to too much, but it was nice to see them back in the area. The next morning Glen did manage to track down five members of the Giraffe Pride; how they got separated is a bit of a mystery, but there were reports that the other 20 members were a few kilometers south of our concession resting off a zebra kill. In their absence, three lionesses from the Sark Breakaway pride spent a day in the area, but when we tried to track them down the next day, their tracks moved to the north and into the Klaserie. There were also reports of the Mayambula Pride walking into the Kruger National Park in the far east… so it was a week of loads of movement from our lions. We can only hope that next week they decide to settle down a little and spend more time within our concession. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
