Images by Khalil Ibrajim, June 30, 2022 While they are both looking very fantastic, TYM is becoming super impressive. just like his fathers. RE: Lions of Timbavati - DARK MANE - 07-10-2022 1/6 black dam male is mating with runaway female of kapama in Thornybush. The male has a slight limp. RE: Lions of Timbavati - Tonpa - 07-10-2022 One of the masungulo males eating another male lion. Presumably one of the young Kudyela boys RE: Lions of Timbavati - Tr1x24 - 07-10-2022 (07-10-2022, 05:09 PM)Tonpa Wrote: One of the masungulo males eating another male lion. Some of them are younger though and look like females from a distance, so potentially there's still five of them alive now. Presumably one of the young Kudyela boys Their fathers are the machaton males. I think they are still in the "Run away from male lions" stage, but they "occupy" a corner of their fathers former territory that the Masungulo males haven't really ventured into yet. I think their recent vocalising led to the masungulo males coming in and this happening. RE: Lions of Timbavati - Tonpa - 07-10-2022 I asked a guest and it was this male that was killed. Is it a take over?? Never mind, I read your posting above and provided answer to my question!! Xipelupelu pride on this mornings drive" by sabrewildlife Controlled by the Machatons interestingly RE: Lions of Timbavati - criollo2mil - 07-13-2022 Not sure if it’s appropriate but thought I’d share that Aruna Pavithran, a moderator and sensational contributor to the Timbavati FB Group has reportedly passed away. I’ve lost count on the amount of lion history I’ve learned from her posts in that group. Very saddened at her loss. May she RIP. |
