All 5/5 subadults are looking quite healthy. Well two older avoca lionesses are mating with YBM and TYM and the youngee two are taking care of these 5 subs. Currently ww are seeing this pattern in nkuhuma, talamtalamatis, kambulas pride too. This young lone male needs to be careful. And all of the above he needs to find a coalition partnee on the first place. Well in recent years avocas pride is very successful. First they give S avocas, then N. Avocas, then XIKUKUTSU males and now this young submale. Osindile is the social media name for The Birmingham Male but it’s never been official from the reserve. I was speaking mostly about they having a coalition name from them officially RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 03-01-2022 (03-01-2022, 05:15 AM)DARK MANE Wrote: Well in recent years avocas pride is very successful. Aside of currently raisen generation sired by Mapoza, the last succesfully raised generation was that of 2013 from which Sabi Sands Avocas came. The pride unfortunetly has couple of years wasted. Also in that generation from 2013 and the single litter they given birth in the mean time (Xikukutsus), the offspring was mostly composed of males so it is vital for the pride existance that the current generation sired by Mapoza male make it through into adulthood. Ohhhh.... Then it's very crucial for the 4 subs girls to reach adulthood. Same situation is with othawa pride of SS RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 03-04-2022 Some of Birmingham breakaway males *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author Avoca young male *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author Birmingham male *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author Torchwood male *This image is copyright of its original author

Some elephants and rhinos showed face before we got to spend time with five lionesses from the Giraffe Pride and their six growing cubs as they lay down to rest a couple of kilometres from Plains Camp!
