Yes, Machaton pride extincted a couple of years ago.(11-09-2021, 03:13 AM)Timbavati Wrote: Hi DA. Welcome to WildFact forum. Hope you enjoy much as we do. If you ever has a question, don't doubt in ask me. The Timbavati males were born into the Jacaranda pride in 2003/4. These males were dominant in the Northern parts of Timbavati. But they also were dominant in Ingwelala/Umbabat and Ntsiri. These cubs, in fact, are from the Machaton pride and were sired by the Timbavati males. Same age as the Birmingham young male. The other 6 were born in late 2017 to early 2018 RE: Lions of Timbavati - Mdz123 - 11-22-2021 (11-22-2021, 11:08 PM)Timbavati Wrote:(11-22-2021, 10:23 PM)DE_66 Wrote:(11-16-2021, 09:09 PM)Timbavati Wrote: Only time will tell. Its crazy how BYM has a much more developed mane than the oldest Birmingham breakway male, despite them having the same age.
