The face of the male is not visible so it is hard to tell for sure, but it is probably Hercules male.

The Avocas seem to have occupied a large part of the Blackdam Pride’s former territory, and sightings of them have become commonplace on southern Thornybush.

They are hunting down elephants? They must be really good hunteresses. Hope they find dominant male soon. Lot of nomadic coalitions in the area.

Recent sighting of the Guernsey young male (Son of Hoedspruit males)
He crossed Kapama's boundary to ThornyBush. He's been missing for 5/6 months. It's great to see him alive!

So it is not a third Black Dam male in the end. Those are indeed great news as new bloodline will improve genetic diversity, of course if the young male will manage to reproduce.

@Tr1x24 Not sure, we tagged our friend guide at Kapama yesterday, he seemed happy this guy was found as him and other guides have been wondering for 6 months where he went, not sure yet if they will try get him back or not. But he just said he got through, so must be some spots that aren’t secure or something. Ebenezer is a senior guide at Kapama

Hi DA. Welcome to WildFact forum. Hope you enjoy much as we do. If you ever has a question, don't doubt in ask me. The Timbavati males were born into the Jacaranda pride in 2003/4. These males were dominant in the Northern parts of Timbavati. But they also were dominant in Ingwelala/Umbabat and Ntsiri. These cubs, in fact, are from the Machaton pride and were sired by the Timbavati males.
