They sired 10 sub-adults in the Mayambula pride,7 cubs in the Skorro pride. They also had two cubs in the Zebenine pride, But unfortunately the offspring of them with the Zebenine pride didn't make it. Yes, the Mbris do have a lot of offsprings around- 6 subadult males and subadult daughters from Mayambula Pride sired by Zigzag and Sakha and other subadults from Nsemani Pride sired by Senior Mbiri and Rockfig male. RE: Lions of Timbavati - leaobr - 10-02-2021 Actually they are dominant over these 2 prides? Mayambula and skorro? RE: Lions of Timbavati - Mdz123 - 10-02-2021 There is a third batch of Mbiris somewhere in Kruger if im not wrong. The Matimba bloodline is very strong, Skorro males are their sons if you didnt know. They abandoned the Mayambula pride a few months ago. Last sighting I've seen of them with this pride was in April this year, more or less. Exactly, good point my friend, Nonetheless, the third Mbiri male you're referring to wasn't seen in ages as far I'm aware. I'll dare to say that chances of him being alive are low. RE: Lions of Timbavati - Mdz123 - 10-03-2021 I hope these two promising males take over the Avoca pride sometime soon. The pride really needs a dominant males after spending a long time without one RE: Lions of Timbavati - afortich - 10-03-2021 (10-02-2021, 08:05 PM)Tr1x24 Wrote: BYM and Torchwood on a buffalo kill : Nice pic! thank u for the update. Let's hope they won't clash again with the Monwana pride. UPDATE about the two cubs: One seems to has a broken jaw, the other one is looking well feed and healthy. RE: Lions of Timbavati - Tonpa - 10-03-2021 Yeesh that's rough, wonder how that happened. Swatted by one of the sub-adults? RE: Lions of Timbavati - lionuk - 10-03-2021 BYM on the way for a morning drink. *This image is copyright of its original author . Dont think other lions would broke his jaw, althrough its possible if he was in the middle of some scrap, also possible that he got too close to a kill pride catch when the pray was still alive and got kicked by the legs, cubs/subs often get injured like that..Unfortunately that cub wont survive.. |
