Two of the three old Birmingham males having a scuffle with the Monwana pride male known as Marvin in Thornybush.
Caption: A blast from the past. The Burmingham males fighting with the Big male on the Thornybush fence many years ago. Athough the Thornybush male was big he was outnumbered 3 to 1. The fence saved the day. The Blackdam male dies recently and his scull was collected. It measured the third largest lion scull measured in the world.

Hope fully they will stick in the region and bring stability to the Avoca pride.

@"Timbavati" It's awesome to see them getting along now, especially what happened over one month's ago when BYM chased him away. Let's hope they stick together and form a coalition.

Both males looked very calm with the presence of each-other, It makes me thought that they've been spending time together for some time ago now. Of which could makes much sense as the BYM often is seen on his own.

Two of the six Black dam males were seen in Manyeleti a few days ago. After a long work trying to match up the whiskers pattern and scars. I'll dare to say that these two are in fact, two of the six Black dam young males that were seen in Manyeleti and Sabi Sands a few days ago.

Wow nice research, so similarity between that male and thats subadult from Mluwati Concession is just big coincidence? It seems so..

Same males, apparently they are 2 of BDM's and not from Mluwati Concession.

Hope fully they will stick in the region and bring stability to the Avoca pride.

Also yet another thought that since they were seen in north-ester section of Shindzela they are actually far from Myambula pride and they might actually consider compete for it with Skorro males.

RE: Lions of Timbavati - lionuk - 08-22-2021

Why 2 of BDM young males are together, where are their remaining 4 brothers? I mean, usually all young males stick together during their nomadic phase..

He was seen in good condition recently. He chased off a young male. Either Giraffe young male or Sark breakaway young male. Interesting times ahead
