RE: Lions of Manyeleti - MrLoesoe - 09-20-2024 Red Road male and Nharus on a hunt, ~ two days ago. Red Road trailing behind the lionesses. Reading the description it was close to Pungwe Camp which, to my knowledge, is heart of Nharu pride territory. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - criollo2mil - 09-20-2024 Mandevu back w the Mbiri Pride ( i suspect footage is about ten days old) RE: Lions of Manyeleti - BA0701 - 09-20-2024 (09-20-2024, 10:25 PM)criollo2mil Wrote: Mandevu back w the Mbiri Pride ( i suspect footage is about ten days old) Looks like he may have been welcomed back by RRM. (is meant as a joke, given RRM's penchant for such tactics), but he clearly has what appears to be a tooth hole in the top of his head and on the same side of his face. Perhaps this video was taken prior to his pairing up with the young Orpen male, but around that same time. I, too, am one of those who are so very concerned for Ncile, for those exact reasons, but things are not looking good for him at the moment. Truly heartbreaking, to think of all he had overcome, to go out now. Ncile is a warrior, I hope he'll return if alive. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - afortich - 09-21-2024 More o f Mandevu Tintswalo RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Mapokser - 09-27-2024 Another Mbiri cub missing: RE: Lions of Manyeleti - criollo2mil - 09-28-2024 (09-27-2024, 09:09 PM)Mapokser Wrote: Another Mbiri cub missing: news is about ten days old. the eldest cub went missing, reportedly killed by conflict w Nharu Pride. now, this single male cub remains from the youngest litter. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - MrLoesoe - 10-05-2024 Single Mbiri male cub playing with the subadult male (not the Orpen son, but his younger brother): RE: Lions of Manyeleti - NLAL11 - 10-05-2024 5 Imbali lionesses on the Tintswalo virtual safari (at S10 dam if that means anything to anyone). The guide said that these are the lionesses that the Kambula males were mating with, although I'm not sure if that's accurate. He might not be aware of the Imbali breakaway lionesses, which number 4 as far as we know. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - BA0701 - 10-08-2024 One of the Mbiri lionesses has an injured back leg. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Lion1 - 10-17-2024 Both Red Road male & Mandevu Tintswalo male looking in good condition. |
