Some really fantastic video of such a great pride, a really good historical rundown. It only serves to make me wish we got some sign of life from Giraffe Male and the other pride members who went with him, I still hope that humans didn't cause him harm on that private property.

Very good movie and beautiful picture ! However, I'm amazed to see that only one males were able to rule this pride during even a few years, and this 2 times in succession. In a such environment (African park where lions are protected and clearly thrive) it seems incredible.

No, sub adults sired by Giraffe male are still in southern Thornybush. There are 6 males and 3 females, all around 3 years old.

Negative @Gijima They're thriving and were seen in the last months in the Southern Thornybush. They have grown up a lot in the past months!

But he isn't Hosi. This is the Impalabos/Balule male better known now as Socha. He has born in Feb 2013 and is probably son of the old Mohlabetsi males. I've talked with a ranger from Balule about him.
