A young leopard that was following and stalking its prey through the Kruger bush was caught completely off guard when he realized that he had now become the hunted, this is the only way that young leopards learn about other leopards boundaries and territories, next time he might not be so lucky.

Varawal Leopard Camp-A mother Leopard has a difficult job of protecting her cubs. Lakshmi fought ferociously with this male leopard that was from another territory in efforts to save her 5 months cubs. The little one has been hidden away up the hill while Lakshmi charges the other leopard and with no wonder she does task as her HERO. Recent video shared by Maasai mara sighting

A big male tiger from Chandrapur India spotted a young submissive male tiger in his territory, and decided to give the young male a good smacking, he eventually left him alone to lick his wounds.

Why they say Tigers prefer to fight on 2 legs....

RE: Felids Interactions - Intraspecific Conflicts - Spalea - 03-01-2019

@Pckts :

About @239:

Why they say Tigers prefer to fight on 2 legs.... " That doesn't mean they are the lone felids to fight like this. Perhaps by doing this they avoid to bite each other and thus to be seriously wounded.

Nevertheless these two tigers are really impressive and I appreciate very much the "judo hold" and the final "ippon" !
