Can you tell me how did Pretty Boy, Rasta and Makhulu died ?

Knky Tail was born november/ december 2001 same as Mr T

Dreadlocks was trophy hunted around december 2010
Rasta dissapeared july 9th 2010...probably shot
Pretty Boy died around nov 2012 caused by bovine T B
Makhulu was last seen around march 2013 .age about 14 n half.

And this lion from Gir... Opponent's claw caught him in the eye socket & ripped off the bone covering the nasal cavity.

Now i couldn't confirm whether this healed or who this lion was, but the recently deceased male called Bado didn't have the eye & had a similar scar. It could have been him. @jordi6927

About #228: I can't believe it ! This male lion, Bado, is an unbelievable touch guy. After having had the whole eye ball destroyed and snatched with the skin that goes with it, it had recovered from its wounds and actually lives an almost "normal" male lion's life ! One-eyed lion's life...

@Spalea With Gir's dominant lions, if you wait a bit, they'll soon pick up unique scars that makes identification easy.

Chekado (left cheek scar) & Bado (right eye gone).

Chekado was the darker maned one, picked up the scar in 2014. (Actually if you watch the documentary India's Wandering lions you'll see him with the raw wound).

Belly mane is back to the crater!!! Him traveling to Serengeti & back is evidence enough that Ngorongoro isn't that isolated, genetically.

Pictures of same adult lion with & without mane would be quite a grab.

Edit: Don't bother, found one. Apparently his mane was able to grow back within a few months time.

@Spalea Chekaro & Bado... After Bado's death his brother shrinked & shifted territory. I learnt that last month he got gravely injured & was moved to rescue. They do it because otherwise at this age, he'll just be killing cubs in the area even if he survived.
