Birmingham young male is few months over 4 yrs old.., he is definitely born in 2016. RE: Lions of Timbavati - T I N O - 10-21-2020 Birmingham pride - 2017 Image by: Roan Du Plessis. RE: Lions of Timbavati - T I N O - 10-21-2020 One from the archives when the Giraffe Male was mating with one of the Blackdam pride female lions. No cubs were produced from this mating period, as it was a false estrous and she was not receptive. Image by: Rudi Hulshoff *This image is copyright of its original author

Great post... You should post this video either on Birmingham male lions thread / Lions of Sabi Sands instead of here Best regards: Tino Armando RE: Lions of Timbavati - BA0701 - 10-23-2020 Can anyone confirm that is the Young Birmingham Male mating with that lioness? This male looks lighter colored to me, perhaps it is the lighting and the angle of the shot. It is definitely not one of the Ross Males, who appear to be quite close by during this interaction. The young male's leg doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, and he is absolutely massive on top of her, he is really beginning to fill in really well. Either way, this could mean a whole lot of trouble for him, especially if Tyson sees him. Interaction happens at around 7:14 Ok, so after watching it again, when he walks away from her, there is a very slight limp visible. RE: Lions of Timbavati - BigLion39 - 10-23-2020 @BA0701... I believe That is a young male and a female from the Mara. That young male has a lot lighter overall color than the young Birmingham male imho.
