3 did were born to the lion pair of Kolkata's Alipore Zoological Garden, 1 died. The rest were brought on display for first time last week.

For good mood clips from one place, where animals obviously can enjoy being in captivity. They are without a doubt being taken care as good as these people can, no matter what people think overall about it, that should wild animals be in zoos etc. or not.
First tribute video for Jimbo, a Kodiak bear, who died a year ago. At 1:19 he can be seen with Leo, Syrian brown bear. Also 4:16-4:55 and 6:58 are with Leo, giving some impression about size differences. As far as I know Jimbo wasn´t in the "biggest of the big" level (height), but in no way small Kodiak bear either, big boy. Music is sentimental, but as said, this is tribute video from people who considered him as a family member.
Then Leo, look at him and how he can relax... From 5:15 forward... and especially 7:15-7:50 . That "guy" is just floating and relaxing
One more of Leo playing and relaxing, from 3:05-4:05... if they ever film a new Mowgli movie, Leo should be acting Baloo, he is priceless

Interacting with wild animals should never be done on a whim, from a bee to a snake all the way through to an elephant. If you think this is for you, then do yourself a favour and think about everything it takes to look after wild animals properly, besides the romantic side of interacting. Think about the reality of life long commitment, quality of life, feeding, keeping, where the money is coming from, etc, etc. Theoretically this analysis should be done before taking on any animal including cats, dogs, birds, horses etc. ) "
