There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Here is the first glimpse of The 'THUNDER' Male Terai tiger of dudhwa national park (kishanpur range)

The Terai is a lowland region in southern Nepal and northern India that lies south of the outer foothills of the Himalayas, the Siwalik Hills, and north of the Indo-Gangetic Plain. This lowland belt is characterised by tall grasslands, scrub savannah, sal forests and clay rich swamps.

I also observed one thing that most of the time we trace tigers with the call of langur ,chital, spotted deers and many more but in terai because of dense forest sometime they also can not see the tiger .
And this sighting was that kind of show. Siddharth Singh a person who had more than 35 years of expirence in jungle of dudhwa.he just told us that tiger will come out from this patch. and after 15 minute i was clicking tiger.so in terai if you want to sight tiger then you will need such talented person likeSiddharth Singh. thankyou so much for everything. also want to thank my big brother Achintya Pratap Singh.

Many of the visitors at Dudhwa mention about less Tiger sightings....but believe me or not you cannot trust the Jungles. In my last visit i saw this huge male tiger which has rarely been spotted. I would not like to share the location but my friend Amit Bangre, who is an ace naturalist from Dudhwa helped me track this tiger...credit goes to him for this beautiful shot.In my opinion, This is not Beldanda Male, Thunder, or a Ring Road Male.

|| The Angry One ||? A Tiger surely is one of the most beautiful and mysterious creatures on earth. Its name alone is enough to evoke in us a feeling of danger, strength and bravado. The most glorious of all the cats , a tiger has been fascinated by mankind and this is visible in many of our folk tales and lores.
My fascination with charger Male knows no bounds. He has a fiery built and an angry demeanor. A meeting with him and everyone gets to know the reason behind his name Charger. I was lucky to spent a roller coaster ride of 2 hours with him. Like a strict Army Personnel, his every action demanded discipline, respect and obedience. He took me as a student and taught me how to behave infront of the King.
Two hours straight together I learnt a lot then what would have been only available in books if written.
The next meeting a year after lasted for few minutes. And I was surprised that how Huge he has grown in a year. He gave a look at us and then vanished infront of our eyes. And that's the beauty of Terai Tigers. They are true to their innate nature. They have not become used to tourists around and never easily gives a glimpse.

You sure the second one is a tigress? That tiger/tigress looks very muscular and very robust for a tigress.
