The Matimba coalition

How can it be that they were reports on the Northern und Southern Matimba Males on almost a daily basis and now there are no news about them for 2 weeks?!
Can it be that the Matimba Males are dead? 
They are living as nomads in areas where unlike sabi sands there aren't many reports of sightings on social media accounts made. As far as I know, tintswalo lodge is the only lodge in the manyeleti which reports sightings on a regular bases. Also, all these lodges north of the sabi sands probably don't know know of the matimbas and see them just as two old males who can't compete for territory anymore. To us they are characters we have followed for years, but not to others. The lodges that do report sightings focus on resident prides and coalitions and are less likely to report on a coalition that is past it's prime and is only seen sporadically. All this is why we don't see many reported sightings of the matimbas anymore.
Like are they waiting for a good opportunity or what because I know they are still a bit confident.

Having heard their roars in the West at the beginning of drive, WE searched for tracks only to find they were still on the open area by the dam! "Matimba male lions (6) Rhino shortcut road (The morning started out with the six male lions tracks coming south straight towards the KNP pride (4ways pride) that was on a zebra kill. As we then followed there tracks moving east away from the kill as the males tracks was on top of the female tracks. This could only mean one thing... the cubs were in danger. But we could only find one set of cub tracks and that was not a good sign. We followed on to see if we could locate them. After about a half hour we got one of the males coming north. Then all of a sudden we got another five males behind, this was awesome to see. We followed them in to the bush where they brought down a buffalo calf. It was Mayhem when all six of them started to fight over the calf. But finally they all settled down but still growling at each other. Wow what a morning. No news on the KNP pride." They started moving to the south the last few days and were seen on Vuyatela yesterday. Last night they moved further south onto Chitwa where they found the KNP pride on the Zebra kill. There was some sort of a fight...not really sure what happened but we think they might have been chasing the KNP females south during the night or very early this morning. Our rangers followed up on the tracks and found them close to the Mala Mala boundry... Luck was on our side as there was a herd of Buffalo and apparently one of them took down a young one and eventually the other 5 joined later on. Matimbas vs majingilanes... what a really clash of titans! is possible understand why they never did a direct combat cause it would be sterile!
