Do you know if all these are Bubalus arnee fulvus type, like the ones in Assam... or the Bubalus arnee arnee, few of which are still left in Central India?
i am pretty certain that they are Bubalus arnee arnee, also apperance wise look more similar to the central indian ones than Assam ones. one journal had mentioned that fulvus type are the largest-with less conspicious white legs agianst a grey body- the thai ones Bubalus arnee theerapati have grey body like fulvus but distinct white legs, whileBubalus arnee arnee has a white legs like theerapati and more black bodied- so it is the most contrasting type-colourwise. Also it mentions that fulvus types carries the longest horns, and theerapati has a more outward curving horns that tilts slightly towards the tip. here is another Bubalus arnee arnee from koshi reserve or chitwan, Nepal
