We were really fortunate to have spent some good time with a male cheetah who successfully killed a steenbok right in front of us last night. We found him again this morning resting off a full belly amidst the strong wind that was blowing.

SIGHTINGS UPDATE
15 February
Afternoon Drive
- Started our afternoon with the male cheetah in front of the lodge. He was resting in the shade until he got up and started moving. Was quite funny to watch as all the impala plus George banded together to face off the cheetah.

Kind Regards
Nkorho Rangers

Cheetah plains sabi sand

A lone male Cheetah was located crossing Cheetah Plains. We are not 100% sure whether this is a member of the coalition, and if so, where the other coalition member is. Image by Andrew Khosa

Just how amazing and majestic does this Cheetah look standing on the branches of a dead tree looking out over the veld while the other 2 in the background are sitting on the ground looking at her.
