Yes, At present the physical appearance of notches male lions seems to be impressive, what do you say? Though Its my speculation only
 

 

Its not easy to estimate the size of an animal via photo...its not even easy to estimate the weight of an animal standing in front of you. Anyway I think that 200 kg empty is a reasonable estimate - big lions. Alleged 230-250 kg empty would mean that they are Waghdohs among lions. Not impossible but improable.


btw imagine 2 big cat enthusiasts standing in front of a cage with male lion and arguing about his weight. "This lion is 220 kg!" - "No no...this lion is 195 kg!" ...ridiculous...
