There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"Minh Ha Also Kanwar, not just kanha males, but kanha tigresses are extremely big and there are some always mistaken for males by tourists/photographers due to sheer size. While you're there, you might feel like checking out this Indri female of Kisli zone, she's so big she blocks the entire road here:

Unbelievable size for a female, bigger than most males. She's also an old tigress, must be way over 10 yo. Another giant tigress from Kanha here, this one is from kanha zone:

When tigresses are already this big, it makes us excited and eager to learn what the males will be like. I too intend to go to Kanha by year's end to see them for myself.

Kanwar Deep Juneja Yes Minh Ha met a huge tigress today in Kisli and saw her stalking n trying to hunt which failed! Then finally met Munna and spent some time with him... We were alone when we met munna and funny we met Munna sitting on the road from where we had seen the tigress less than an hour later!!! It was a 'Good Morning' indeed photos to follow soon

PS. You have to see some tigresses in corbett too and you'll be surpised at their size! I've often heard guides telling tourists that they are showing a rare male tiger when its a tigress we know about!"

I am curious now about Corbett Tigers. I wonder if they truly rival Kaziranga tigers as the Largest of all big cats.
