There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. It is rather easy to find pictured a "family tree" of bears in general. However, I have never found a family tree pictured of just the grizzly - Ursus arctos. I know that the American grizzly is closely related to the Amur brown bear. I know that the Kodiak bear is closely related to the Kamchatka brown bear. I believe that the Gobi bear, Himalayan brown bear, Syrian brown bear, and Tibetan brown bear are all closely related. A family tree would be awesome! If its ever been done, I can't locate a copy. One thing for sure. If the polar bear is not present, then the family tree would be incomplete.
