Yes, that's a very good assumption Like . its very possible that if the tiger fossils in Lanka discovered in future are even more ancient and old, then it may be the ancient tiger likely originated from wanhesian tiger radiation to India rather than Bengal tiger from south china tiger expansion. In that case, apart from human pressure and climate change, Toba eruption may be major cause for its extinction.
