There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Sorry that was a misunderstanding. You said you talked about a circus where a tiger killed a lion, where did this happen?

Bengal tiger from Surat Zoo, Maharastra. Peculiar stripe patern... Could be from south Indian ancestry judging by physical characteristics.

“While feeding the brown bears and the polar wolves in a game reserve, one bear suddenly attacked a wolf. Unfortunately the wolf was dead a few seconds later.”

I'm sure the angle has a lot to do with it, I don't remember Alcyone being that much bigger than Han, he is 6 months younger but they're getting close to their full size so I don't think they'd grow that much more.

Video showing Ali the Kruger lion. The lions (Ali, Han, Luke and Ilanga) are already full grown adults, look at their full manes. I wish I have the size measurements of each of them.

All the lions in the big pride are between 200-215kg
He’s weighed them a couple of times now, they are about 4 years old as well.

mother is of average size, 90 kg? BTW that Zoo has also sri lanka leopards and persian leopards (unfortunately I dont have good photo). Especially the persian is really huge and quite comparable to the tigress (not as big as her, but quite close)
