I don't think it's Kaziranga, the photographer is from Nepal near Chitwan area, but rhino, tiger interaction is pretty rare in Chitwan, it's more common in Bardia cuz it's drier and most species meet at the common ground as this riverside. BTW rhino looks humongous!

The Hulk -- Gulari Ghat Male.
I went to Dudhwa hoping to photograph one specific male Tiger. I had seen an image of him and totally loved it. The idea of sighting and photographing him kept recurring so after a lot of research on Dudhwa I planned a trip although I realised it wasn't going to be easy. An extended trip was the only way to give myself the best chance of a sighting. Finally after 6 days of waking up at 4 am and making sure I enter the park on time I finally got him on my last safari. It was the most surreal experience. We were the only jeep in and at 5:40 in the morning after a short search we found and tracked fresh pug marks. Seaconds later we saw him sitting on the road in between the grasslands. He giving me 5 mins of his time and then disappeared into the jungle once again. Things like this are what make me believe in a higher power.

A tigress amid the mysterious woods of Dudhwa -- Kishanpur.
After spending six long and exhausting days trying to track tigers in Dudhwa National Park I found myself wondering if there were any tigers at all to begin with. I have nicknamed Dudhwa "The Silent Forest," one that is magical and beautiful beyond words but spotting any wildlife seems a lost cause. For the first time in three years since I began my photography journey I found myself appreciating the sight of Spotted deer or a Langur monkey. I had all but given up hope of sighing a big cat. And then without a single alarm call or warning this magnificent beast presents herself and how!
Hope you enjoy this image made with determination, passion and a lot of hard work.

An incredible male tiger walking amid the grasslands of Dudhwa National Park. Unlike Ranthambore and Bandhavgarh these forests are thick wildernesses. Very few tourist and photographers visit these parts because tiger sightings are few and far between. Took me eleven safaris to sight this Hulk. By far one of the most satisfying wildlife experiences.
