Not sure many people always stated they had a couple of prides but never heard names and I have not seen anyone identify the female lioness over the years to see if they are from different prides. And there’s also what Tr1x24 just said many people think that. but not sure if the pride he is with now is that pride

Othawa male looked even more impressive as 3 yrs old, aswell as both Charlestons, 2 Plains Camp males are beasts at this age.. Not all lions are the same developed at certain age.. 
Since the recent postings of Big Boy, this also just showed up in my YT feed, completely out of the blue. I am not sure I have even searched for anything regarding him, or any of the other subjects in the video in quite awhile. This particular video is comprised of two separate incidents, both involving the Sand River Male "Bent Spine" At the 5:44 mark (I will attempt to timestamp it, but that doesn't always work for some reason, recently), a young Big Boy Charleston gets in to a rather serious fight with Bent Spine, over a giraffe carcass.

Also I remember heard that the Charleston were much larger than the Gowrie males (2017 or so). I think experience won the day in the particular instance. There is a moment where Big Boy throws him down using only one leg, and made it look very easy. The Sand River Bent Spine male was incredibly tough, though, in both battles shown in this video. Big Boy became force to be reckoned with. |
