For those following the story on WE….the Mini mini S8 cub from the breakaways was separated from the Pride for over 24hrs.

Deon posted this video on his stories today but I’m not sure when taken but if it was today, seems the boy has been reunited w the Pride.

It seems the pride is close to the area where the cub was left yesterday.

The Dark Maned Talamati YM…..the hope he and his brother  reunite seems less and less likely?

“Sightings of this young male lion are starting to become more frequent across the central parts of Londolozi. Fully capable of taking down adult zebra, kudu and wildebeest, as well as single-handedly fending off large clans of hyenas. A future force to be reckoned with.”

Those photos are confirmed to not be recent. Though tracks of a young cub and a adult were found. Which is optimistic but futher evidence needs to pop up before we can say for sure.

Ultimately its the wild though. The kid made a mistake and may pay for it with its life. Just like the countless young animals do that feed the lion population.

This little guy makes me SMILE Happy

“ The Tiny lion cub from the Talamati pride enjoying the company of his older siblings! So happy this little guy is hanging in there being the only survivor of his litter, he has a very long road ahead of him but for now……we enjoy this incredible moment.”

My understanding is that this boy’s persistence may have paid off and he was actually seen among the nkuhumas today.

“The Talamati young male posing beautifully this morning at our waterhole in front of the lodge and right at our live camera

He has been trailing the Nkuhuma pride the past few days, but unfortunately he has not been accepted by any of them.”
