There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I noticed in the comments there was some confusion about who the male was. Apparently it's a kambula and not a talamati?

Yeah.  My bad.   The lady initially posted as Talamati.   Then has since corrected it.   I’m going to delete here since I’ve already posted it on the Birmingham lineage thread

I’m saddened to share some sad news.

A Guide has confirmed that 1/3 Talamati Breakaway Lionesses had died.

It is suspected it’s the Matimba.  EDIT——some say the 2 selatis have been seen on WE today…. So this may confirm it.

They haven’t determined the cause but she was seen in bad shape and suspected snake bite or something similar.    Vets were requested to assess but she didn’t make it.

Damn damn damn Sad

That young boy is one of those "strange" character lions, doing his own things, for whatever reason.

Actually im not suprised, his father is most likely DM afterall, quite unique lion himself.

The other Talamati boy needs to join them before it’s too late

So glad that these two are providing company to each other. We only need the other Tamlamati to join.

LONDOLOZI BLOG WEEK IN PICTURES #595

The Talamati Pride continue to spend time traversing the central parts of our reserve, …………

3. For a few days in a row, we came across the Talamati [...] Male who had seemingly separated from the rest of the pride. After a morning following him, while he was contact calling he then settled in the long grass.

5. One of the Talamati Lionesses patiently scanned her surroundings before deciding which direction the pride should head towards as the light began to fade
