There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@eagleman You should upload your images via websites like Imgur so we can view them in full size. Also visitors that don't have an account on Wildfact cannot view them which is a shame.

There is a rumour that central african leopards are somehow larger headed than other subspecies.
I don't belive it al all.
Look for example a large male persian with a very big, proportionated head.

Caspian Red Deer Stag killed by a Leopard.

*This image is copyright of its original author

"Within the cluster of the male Akhun, the remains of a large 5-6-year-old male deer (!) Were found. At the same time, it was also observed how the corpse of this deer was buried by a bear, which apparently found its prey later. The bear took advantage of the fact that the leopard could, after satisfying its hunger, move away from its prey.

Judging by the nature of the wounds on the neck and muzzle, the deer was killed by the leopard."
