Lipstick And Blackie. Scientists say males are past their prime at 9, don't tell these two guys that! Both were past the age of 9 years old when they took over the unsuccessful Topi plains pride. Only 2 cubs of many had made it to maturity before they came, only one is still alive. Also in another post I have read 3 year old males trying to take over.. Looks like Mara lions mature earlier than other african lions? @Tshokwane @Ngala Any thoughts?

Is this lone male lion trying to join a coalition of 4 male lions in the Masai Mara? Interesting dynamics. One of the 4 lions does not attack the lone lion even though his coalition mates do. I would like to know more about these 5 lions if anyone has any info.
