There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

On a positive note, there seems to be a documentary coming in 2023 of the Porini/Sampu Enkare breakaway Pride up in 'Ol Kinyei...

What a smart lioness. That is great to hear, and right now I think we could all use a bit of good news, on so many levels.

Corruption indeed. It is disgusting, i seems these days nowhere is immuned from the influences of corrupt forces. More than people and countries, it is now having a negative impact on the animals as well. I read an article from some time back, and it said the exact same thing happened to the Great Marsh where they filmed Sekikama and the Marsh Pride. Article said the marsh had been entirely over-run by humans, forcing the lions out, and causing several lionesses from the Marsh Pride to get killed due to HWC. I no longer consider such incursions as this to be HWC, this is a full scale attack on the futures of entire species. At some point good people will be forced to make a stand.

Yup I was talking with someone on FB and they told me exactly what you said, same thing goes on in Savuti Marsh, the home of Sekekama and Torn nose.

Please do not make any more new threads, and place your posts into the already active threads that they properly fit in. Such as your Half-Tail and Longo post would belong in this Masai Mara thread. Thank you
