Hm after initially photo of Shaka with new scar i taught he fight his brother for mating rights, but now im not sure anymore, that looks too much for a fight for mating rights.. 

Im amazed how Shaka is still alive at this point, those kind of lions who "doesnt give a f..." usually dont last long. 

These 2 Mbiris might be most ferocius duo in recent times.

The biggest issue for me in thoery that Shaka got his newest wound from fight with his brother is that larger Mbiri does not have any new wound whatsoever.

Lions are very resiliant and when they are in their prime and has a consistant food source they can survive very rough injurys.

They always have been. I can not name one single coalition which would be getting so often in the confrontations with other coalition. Moreover they began their neverending search for scraps while they were just around 3(!) years old. They are truly special duo.

No, i didn't meant it because of his injuries, i meant it in a way that im suprised that he didnt get killed already, althrough Nharhu's where close.
