There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Under the picture is date.. @2015..so thats Hairy Belly Matimba.. Their oldest sons would be only 3/4 yrs in 2015..

Based on a date, you conclude he's HB himself? Regardless, HB looked a bit different around 2015, you can see the eye color is still darker and he's looking older than this lion.

Yes, I meant to post the second photo first!  I confused myself.  I didn't double check the posting.

That's true.  I went over and realized it. Wink)

Yes, I guess I should have posted the 2nd photo instead first.  My mistake and oversight. ;/

I was going to post them side by side or the 2nd photo in the Matimba son's thread, with HB's photo in the Matimba Coalition thread.  Instead I posted HB's in the wrong thread, LOL!  Wtf?  (Shaking my headWink

They have 10 sub adults of over 2 years old sired in Myambula pride. Those guys are yet too young to already have adult offspring.

Not sure what's going on in that area but I think Nsemani's have shifted south and it seems the Leeubron's have also moved a bit south. The Nsemani's controlled a pride for some time and may have just abandoned them in search of new prides.
